APPLICATION: Sealing of Drying Tunnel

DESCRIPTION: Covers, main doors, and other accessways into dryers and other tunnels used to process film, tape and other products are sealed gas-tight with Pneuma-Seal. Some of these accessways may be over 100 ft. long. Consequently, the tolerances on the fabrication mating structural parts can be rather wide.
The inflatable seal accommodates these loose tolerances and eliminates the necessity for costly machining associated with the mating surfaces required for "O" rings and other conventional seals. Pneuma-Seal is offered in a variety of materials including EPDM, Nitrile (NBR), Neoprene, and silicone to resist the gases and other chemicals inherent in the converting process.
