Pneuma-Seal
Air Connectors
The following provides general air connector information only. To see more specifics on the connectors we offer, please review the Air Connectors tab within the applicable Standard Profiles section.
For endless seals, the most common location for the air connection is on the bladder's underside (or base) that mates with the mounting surface. This protects the connector from excessive abuse and is highly recommended. For bladders with closed solid ends (functioning as a seal, clamp, or actuator), the air connection can also extend out of one end. For some Type 2, 3, 4, and 10 profiles, sidewall connectors are available but not recommended (consult Pawling for feasibility). As always, if you have a unique application or just general questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of our Sales Engineers.
